MHT CET Admit Card Download, MHT CET 2018 Date


The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra will issue the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) 2018 admit cards on April 24.
The candidates can download MHT-CET admit cards from the official website, dtemaharashtra.gov.in after the admit cards are released.

MHT CET 2018 examination will be held on May 10.

Steps to download MHT-CET 2018 admit card:
  • Visit the official website, dtemaharashtra.gov.in
  • Click on download admit card option
  • Enter your registration number, roll number and click submit
  • MHT CET 2018 admit card will be displayed on screen
  • You can download it and take a print out for future use.

MHT-CET examination is held to admit candidates to the full-time undergraduate degree courses in engineering/technology (BE/BTech) and pharmacy (BPharm/Pharm D) in various recognised institutions in Maharashtra.

Examination Pattern:
Type of questions: The questions are based on syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education
Weightage: Approximately 20 per cent weightage will be given to class 11 curriculum and 80 per cent weightage will be given to class 12 curriculum while setting the question paper
Negative marking: There is no negative marking, however difficulty level will be at par with JEE (Main) for mathematics, physics, chemistry and difficulty level for biology will be at par with NEET. The questions will be mainly application based. The MHT-CET admit card will have multiple choice questions (MCQs)

The Department of Technical Education (DTE), established on September 4, 1957 runs 12 government engineering colleges, 49 polytechnic colleges, three colleges of fine art, 39 technical high schools, 17 government commercial institutes, 42 tailoring and garment making training centres and four vocational training centers.

DTE conducts Master of Technology/Master of Planning, Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Architecture, MFA, BFA, diploma and certificate courses through engineering colleges, polytechnics, technical high schools, commercial institutes, arts colleges, tailoring and garment making training centers and vocational training centers.
