FYJC Mumbai.11thAdmission.net General Merit list 2017
The education department announce the mumbai.11thadmission.net general merit list for First Year Junior College (FYJC) students in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). The state govt. has rescheduled the dates as admissions to the quota seats are still undergoing. As per the data of MMR Education Department, a total of 2.51 lakh students have registered for FYJC admissions this year, using the option form 1, 2.36 lakh completed the option form II, while 2.35 lakh verified their documents.
Private colleges have held the minority quota FYJC 11th Standard admissions without the education department's interference. It is upto the junior college which decides how to fill the 50 per cent seats reserved for minority students and if seats remain vacant, the junior colleges need to surrender them to the state education department.
A ‘zero round’ will be held for online admissions to the Higher Secondary Vocational Course (HSVC) and quota seats – religious or linguistic minority, in-house and management. The seats will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis if the seats still remain vacant.
B.B. Chavan, deputy director, school education, said, “Quota Admission for F.Y.J.C colleges is going on. If any student fail to get admission through quota then they can apply for open, for which they need to fill up the form again. Students gets accommodated, we will monitor this.”
