HSC Result 2013 Maharashtra Board to be decalred by the end of May

HSC Result 2013 Maharashtra Board is likely to be published by the end of May. Rajendra Darda, state school education minister, said, "as the paper assessment work was unaffected much by the junior college teachers’ strike, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) 10th results are expected to be declared by the end of May. In the year 2012, the Maharashtra HSC results were decalred on May 25. Said Mr. Darda, “I have taken stock of the progress on the assessment of answersheets. Despite the time lost during the boycott, the assessment is going smoothly. If all goes as per the plan, the results will be announced before the end of May”.

With nearly 55,000 college teachers boycotted the checking of answersheets from 21st Feb to 13th March, the checking of answer sheets and final evaluation was lagging behind by more than 20 days. Despite 12,000 to 15,000 unaided schoolteachers refusing the exams and evaluation of the answer sheets, the SSC answersheets evaluation, has also been largely unaffected.Sarjerao Jadhav, chairperson, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education said, "Only a handful of SSC teachers had participated in the strike. So, it did not have an impact on paper correction".

It was utmost necessary to announce the HSC results on time so that students can apply for universities education. If any student wants to apply for admission in medical or engineering colleges, the HSC scores are required and if the students do not have the original marksheets, they are denied admission.  Last year, around 17 lakh students took the exam and now also, around the same number of candidates are waiting for the HSC Result 2013 Maharashtra Board to be declared soon.
